Mid-Atlantic offers the following programs for non-credit continuing education and professional development.
Virtual Education Software, Inc. (VESi) provides self-paced professional development courses for teachers with an emphasis on student behavior. Mid-Atlantic Christian University has partnered with VESi to offer continuing education courses for educators that provide interactive instruction on strategies for teaching students with special behavioral and learning needs. These computer-based courses are easy to use from your computer online or via CD-Rom. Courses are offered for CEUs and provide expert instruction at a pace that fits your schedule. Educators who successfully complete a module will be issued a certificate of completion for their records and to present to the staff development person within their school. Final award of CEUs must be approved by the local education agency (school district or charter school). It is therefore recommended you have each course approved prior to registering. Course prices vary.
Please note: the last link will take you to a MACU payment site where you can view the courses and provide payment. Once received, we will notify VESi which will complete the registration process. Successful completion of these courses qualifies the student for CEUs only. Courses do not qualify for academic credit from MACU.
