Watermarke, Christ’s Church at Bellefonte, is seeking a family and youth-oriented leader to partner with our congregation and community in its unconventional approach to service, worship and outreach to our greater Central Pennsylvania community.  Our 150-member congregation currently meets at the local middle school but also operates and ministers through our Church Office and Outreach Center.  Formed in 2005, our purpose is “inviting people into a growing relationship with Christ” by the means of R-Values (Relevant teaching, Visible joy, Authentic relationships, Life changes, Unconditional love, Equipped teams and Servant ministry).  So if God is calling you to a ministry to “real people walking with a real God in ordinary living,” then please consider joining our team in making that mark in the lives of a church that does things a little differently.

The Essex/Middle River Community located on the Chesapeake Bay is a growing suburb of Baltimore is a great place to live, worship, work, and raise a family.  It is within about 45 minutes of our nation's capital.  Currently, the church is averaging around 75 in attendance each week and has excellent growth potential, both spiritually and numerically. The ideal lead Minister candidate we seek is highly gifted in the area of preaching and public communication, has a college degree in ministry from a Restoration Movement institution, exhibits strong communication skills and is able to share the message of the grace of God in a compelling way. He is committed to New Testament church principles and is able to teach the Bible clearly, equipping our church body to grow in knowing and serving God. Beaver Creek Christian Church is seeking a full time minister to serve a congregation averaging 100 in attendance. Beaver Creek is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church located in the northwest corner of North Carolina in Ashe County in the town of West Jefferson. The ideal candidate will be a Christ-led, seminary graduate with previous pastoral experience and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Christian Bible College. The candidate should be a strong spiritual leader with good pastoral skills i.e.; preaching, teaching, Bible study, counseling, visitation etc. Computer and internet skills are a plus. The candidate will be accountable to the church board. Salary commensurate with experience, benefits to include a parsonage with utilities.

First Christian church Grove, Oklahoma has a position for a senior minister open. First Christian church is located in Northeast Oklahoma near to Grand Lake of the Cherokees. The city of Grove is located on one of the largest lakes (1300 miles of shoreline) in the area of the 4 states region of Northeast Oklahoma, Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. First Christian church is an independent Christian church and has a history dating back 100 years. The church has two worship services, one traditional and one contemporary. Attendance runs between 250 and 300 for morning worship.

Senior Minister

First Christian Church of Grove


Education and Experience: Expected to be called by God with Christian Church ministry experience.

Function: The senior minister will be a man called to God's service. He will be responsible to preach the Gospel, and to minister to members of First Christian Church, as well as people of the local area. He will be a person whose spiritual gifts, talents, education, and experience suit him for the position of our Senior Minister.

Authority: He is directly accountable to the eldership of First Christian Church concerning matters of doctrine, ethical, and moral conduct of himself, our members, and staff of First Christian Church. He will be the team leader with a shared preaching responsibility and will provide guidance for all church programs and activities.

Responsibility:
Spiritual
  1. He serves with the eldership board in providing direction, formulation of the vision, strategies, and ministry programs of this congregation that will promote spiritual growth of the current membership and will strive to increase the ministry of Christ.
  2. Preach, teach, and speak concerning the word of God at every opportunity to the congregation and to the local community.
  3. Perform services such as weddings, funerals, Bible studies, and counseling within guidelines established between himself and the elders.
  4. Coordinate all services of First Christian Church.
  5. Train and advise the members of First Christian Church for ministries (i.e., Sunday School Teachers, Bible Study Teachers, church visitation, and local ministries).
Supervisory
  1. He will oversee the administrative office staff and their functions.
  2. Oversee all salaried employees of the church and coordinate their activities.
Evangelism
  • Responsible for coordinating evangelistic programs and activities.
Shepherding
  • Responsible for coordinating all calling in areas of ministry and is to be assisted in this endeavor by the staff and Elders.
Public Relations
  • The minister shall involve himself in community and civic activities and will maintain a good relationship with area churches and the ministerial alliance.
Relationships
  1. The minister shall report to the elder leadership of the church at regularly scheduled meetings concerning all church plans and activities.
  2. He will be a member of the First Christian Church Mission Committee.

Lindside Christian Church is an independent Christian Church that celebrated its 50th Anniversary in August 2012.  The most recent building, a new worship center with seating capacity of 350, was completed in 2004.  The congregation is debt free.

 

The qualified candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited Christian Church/Church of Christ Bible College or University.  The candidate must be spiritually mature, organized and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent public speaking skills.  Salary and benefits commensurate with experience, and a parsonage could be available if needed or desired.

Museville Christian Church is a small independent, non-denominational church located in the western portion of Pittsylvania County, Virginia. We are currently seeking a full time minister and would welcome correspondence and/or applications from qualified men of God.
