Student Minister

Reidsville Christian Church (Reidsville, NC) is currently seeking a full-time Student Minister whose primary responsibilities are with Middle & High School youth. Although all applicants will be considered, the ideal candidate has a ministry-related degree from a Christian Church/Restoration Movement university, is a good teacher and communicator, is self-motivated, and is able to relate well to teenagers while also having a heart for the entire church family. Reidsville Christian is currently averaging 425 in attendance and has an active youth program strengthened by our exiting Student Minister of 4+ years. Youth and Children's minister/director

Student Minister

Englewood Christian Church in Jacksonville, FL, (eccjax.com) is searching for a candidate for the position of Student Minister who would oversee the ministry for all middle school, high school, and college students, and young adults. This would involve directing all of the programming for these groups, teaching, discipling, and leading volunteer sponsors.

 

Englewood is a fifty year old congregation in a culturally mixed area of Jacksonville. The church averages 280. Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night programming is planned so that many teaching opportunities may be offered. The church is very missions minded and follows the Faith Promise plan for missions support.

 

The church is looking for someone who passionately loves God, His Church, and the Bible. A bachelor’s degree is required. Having a righteous life style, a vigorous work ethic, and a team spirit are priorities for this position. The student minister would work alongside a senior minister, a music director, a children’s ministry director, and a church secretary.

Youth Minister

Youth Minister - Job Description
1.  Lead, develop, motivate and encourage spiritual growth in high school
and middle school students.
2.  Select and implement curriculum for all Sunday school and youth
groups.
3.  Develop and build exceptional relationships with all students.
4.  The main responsibilities will be for the Middle and high school
students, but there will be some oversight responsibilities for k-5th
grade.
5. Identify, recruit, and train all youth sponsors and Sunday school
teachers.
6.  Lead and organize youth activities throughout the year including CIY
and camps.
7.  The position reports to the senior minister.

Youth/Associate Minister

YOUTH/ASSOCIATE MINISTER POSTION

 

WHERE:  GUM NECK CHURCH OF CHRIST – COLUMBIA, NC

 

JOB STATUS:  PART TIME with the potential to become FULL TIME

 

STARTING PAY:  $200 Per Week Plus Mileage.  May be adjusted higher with previous experience.

 

Gum Neck Church of Christ has an open position for a Youth Minister/Associate Minister.  The primary responsibility for this person will be to develop and coordinate a program which ministers to the needs of the members of the congregation under 18 years of age.  He will have the assistance of those who are already working with the youth to help administer the program.

 

Specific responsibilities will include, helping to co-ordinate and teach Sunday school and Junior church on a rotational basis with other teachers.  Planning at least two youth activities per month that are outside of regular church activities.  One activity will be for the teens and one will be for grades 1-6.

 

The right person will have a passion for the gospel and helping young people become rooted in Christ so that they will want to continue in their relationship and remain active in their faith after they graduate high school.  The position requires someone who strongly supports the importance of baptism (immersion) and regular sharing of the Lord’s Supper.  Enthusiasm, energy, organization, and creativity are requirements for the position. 

 

Hiree will be offered and encouraged to deliver one sermon each Quarter to the congregation, either on Sunday morning or Sunday evening to help develop his communication skills.
